On the “Home
Page”:
On the
“Getting Started” page:
Click on “I am a new user”
In the “User ID” field, type in either your name or preferably your e-mail address so that
it is easy to remember.
In the “Email” field, type in your e-mail address.
In the “Password” field, type in a word which you
will remember easily.
In the “Confirm Password” field, type your password
again.
Click the
“Next” button to enter your own details.
On the “Owner
Details” page:
Fill in your name and address details making sure
that you do not put your surname in the “Title & Initials” field. In the
case of a partnership, all the titles, initials and surnames must be filled in.
(See the example on the page).
If you live
outside of the UK you must complete the “Country” field.
YOU MUST MAKE
A SEPARATE ENTRY FOR EACH OWNER OR PARTNERSHIP JUST AS YOU WOULD ON A PAPER
ENTRY FORM.
Towards the
bottom of the page you will see three tick boxes, you must tick the
first box which says “I am the owner or have the full permission of all the
owners in the partnership to enter the dog(s) into this show”.
Do not
fill in the two fields at the bottom of the page unless someone else is handling your dog(s) for you and you
want them to be benched under his/her surname.
On the “Dog
Details” page:
Fill in your dog’s name, title (if it is a Champion), breed, date of birth, sex, breeder, sire, sire’s title (if he is a Champion), dam and dam’s title (if she is a Champion).
(THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE “DOG DETAILS”
PAGE ARE ONLY APPLICABLE TO CRUFTS)
Choose from the three options “Kennel Club
number”/”Stud Book Number”/”ATC Number”.
In the “Number” field, type in the appropriate
number for your dog.
In the “Qualifying Show and Date” field, type the
name and date of the show where your dog qualified for Crufts. (See the Crufts
schedule for information on qualification details. If your dog has a Stud Book
number this field does not need to be completed)
In the “Qualifying Award” field, type in the award
or class placing which your dog won at the qualifying show. (If your dog has a
Stud Book number this field does not need to be completed).
Repeat as above for each dog. You can enter the details for all your dogs if you prefer and then you will have your own database ready to use for future shows.
On the “Enter
into Show” page:
Click on the “Enter into Show” button next to the dog you wish to enter.
On the “Classes” page:
A list of classes for which
your dog is eligible (as regards breed, sex and age) is displayed. For an explanation of what each class
means, refer to the show schedule by pressing the schedule link on the page.
Tick the class(es) you wish to enter your dog into.
Click the “Next” button to choose your purchases.
On the “Purchases” page:
Type in the number of each item you require in the box next to the price of each item.
The total price will be worked out automatically for you.
Please note that exhibitors at Crufts will receive a free pass for each dog entered. Partners entering one dog only will receive an additional free helper’s pass.
Click the button on the bottom of the page to complete your entry.
On the “Complete Entry” page:
Check that all the details you have typed in are correct.
Tick the box at the end of the declaration. (You cannot go any further
unless you tick this box.)
Click the button at the bottom of the page which says: “To proceed with
your entry and make a payment click here”.
A box will appear warning you that you are going into a secure site – which is the payments section, press “OK” here.
On the Servebase Payments Page:
Type in your credit card number (without any spaces or hyphens), start date (if applicable), expiry date and issue (if applicable). Then press the “Proceed” button and wait for your credit card payment to be processed.
When you leave the payments site, the box will appear again telling you that now you are leaving a secure site, press “OK” here too.
If your payment is successful, a message will appear telling you that you have successfully entered a show online.
After a few minutes, you will receive an e-mail detailing your entry.
You must print this out and retain it until after the show as it is your proof
of entry.
Please note:
ONCE AN ENTRY IS COMPLETED AND PAYMENT IS MADE, YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT ONLINE.
If you wish to make any changes to your completed online entry, they
must be made in writing to the Show Secretary before the close of entries or
e-mailed to Fosse Data Systems Ltd. before the close of entries.
Warning!
If you go through the show entry process again,
for the same show, with the same dogs, including the payments section, a
new entry form number will be allocated and payment will be taken again.
You can however, change your owner details or dog details if necessary, ready for the next show you wish to enter online by clicking on the “My Details” and “Dog Details” buttons at any time.
